Dear Kris & SaiFon:

We just wanted to express our gratitude and appreciation for the most wonderful experience of our lifetime! The sea rafting adventure, that we went on with you today, is something that we will never forget and we're already looking forward to coming back and enjoying that experience again. We have some great pictures, which we will send to you, but the things we will always have are the memories that you created for us to have with us forever. Thank you so much. We literally love this island and when our vacation comes to an end, it always saddens us so much, especially when we meet wonderful friends like you, but we know that one must return to reality and making a living sometime.

If you are ever in Utah, coming through Logan, we hope you will feel welcome to call us and come by and visit. We have a lot of room and we would love to have you stop by and spend some time.

“This was the best adventure we have ever done and we will do it again.”

This trip was so amazing. Shannon met us and escorted us to where the boat was docking. She is a wonderful asset to SHR. The boat left the pier at 0830 and didn't come back to the pier till 1430. Six hours on the water, exploring the ocean and Kealakeakua Bay. We started our trip with the sighting of spinner dolphins and breaching whales. That alone was beyond amazing. We were totally entertained by our two captains Kris and Chad. We made to Kealakeakua Bay to snorkel. The fish were everywhere and beautiful. We saw hammer head and white tip sharks just swimming with us. We felt very safe with our captains that the sharks didn't even scare us, but gave us the desire to see more. The trip back to the pier was a history lesson of the fire goddess, lava, and the Hawaiians. We saw turtles swimming in their natural environment. The sea caves were awesome. The caves had colorful layers of lava. We actually went into the caves with the boat. We could see yellow tangs swimming around the rocks. What made this trip so special were the captains, Kris and Chad. Both would have given you their shirts off their back. Kris did give his shirt to another passenger who was starting to burn. Chad was soooo funny. They are a good combination together making the trip spectacular. After coming back to shore, we had decided that we were going back out on the boat again. We took three, yes three adventures with SHR in our 12 day stay. We did a lot of other adventures and tours, and by far SHR was the best.

We took another snorkeling trip. On that trip we swam with the spinner dolphins. The momma dolphins with their babies were amazing. My oldest son didn't want to snorkel that day and wanted to just stay on board. Kris was great company for my 17 year old, Ben. The rest of us snorkeled at Two Step by the Refuge and again at Kealakeakua Bay. My daughter loved the little critters that Kris made for her. A fish on a fishing pole and a turtle. He makes them from palm leaves. He made me a cricket, which is proudly displayed on my desk.

Our 3rd trip was the so cool. We went for a night snorkel with the manta rays. It was like the manta rays were performing a ballet for us. They swam and flipped right in front of us as they dined on plankton. If you were lucky, the manta rays would actually touch you. This is called "being slimmed". Unfortunately, we didn't get slimmed by the manta rays. But Chad slimmed us with his wet body. It still brings smiles upon our faces and giggles from my daughter, Emily. Matthew didn't want to get out of the water, he was having so much fun with the manta rays.

Each one of my children now have SHR shirts and proudly wear them. They tell me that these trips were the best of part of Hawaii. Kris, Shannon, and Chad truly love what they do and share their love of Hawaii with each of us. We started as strangers and ended as ohana (family). Thank you for an adventure of a lifetime.

Dear Kris, Shannon & Chad,

I have so desited to write you since returning home from our vacation. Meeting you and Sea Hawaii Rafting was one of the highlights of our trip. Beginning with Shannon's bright eyed, totally disarming friendliness and enthusiasm, we were instantly drawn to your company. When we arrived at the pier, we were again greeted with your warm, sincere and bright personality. Once on board, you put us completely at ease with your quiet confidence, transperancy, sense of humor and hospitality. Our excursion was absolutely fabulous! From the multiple whale and dolphin sightings, to the historic, geological and cultural explanations, to the boat snorkeling sights that Kathleen had ever experienced, your tour was stellar! As for me personally, I greatly appreciated your attentiveness to my needs as I remained on board.

Kris, two things you did espicially stood out which deeply touched my heart. First, at all times you knew Kathleen's exact location in the water when asked. I cannot express how much that was a comfort to me. As one who must rely on the discenrnment of others, it was HUGE to know how serious you take the responsibility to watch and care for your passengers - espicially my wife. This gave me the ability to truly relax with complete confidence in your leadership, integrity and control. The second thing was something I did'nt discover until we landed and departed. Kathleen told me you held the umbrella over me the entire time she was in the water. Even now when I think of your selfless act, I choke up. I am truly humbled you would serve me so. All along I thought the umbrella was in a pole holder unless you needed something from that area. Now, I understand and admire the gracious way you absorbed that cheap comment from the other boat regarding the parasol. The bible says, "Whoever wishes to become great among you must become your servant." Kris, you are GREAT in my book. Your servant's heart was endeared me to you.

All of you were wonderful to us and we are the richer to now know you.
